Premium cabins

Available on select long-haul international flights, United Polaris® is all about giving you the best sleep in the sky. United First and United Business
For travel within the U.S. and Canada, their United First® service provides you with extra space and comfort, as well as complimentary dining and alcoholic beverages. You’ll also receive Premier Access® benefits as well as two free checked bags and priority baggage handling.

Premium transcontinental service
Experience extra comfort coast to coast on flights between New York/Newark and Los Angeles and New York/Newark and San Francisco. You can choose between the United Premium PlusSM experience, which includes a hot meal as well as free alcoholic drinks, or the United Business experience, which features a premium flat-bed seat, special bedding from Saks Fifth Avenue and enhanced food and drinks.

United Premium Plus
United Premium PlusSM offers you extra space, added comfort and more ways to enjoy your trip on select flights. Your seats are closer to the front of the plane, giving you more legroom, elbow room and room to recline. Each seat has its own power outlet and USB charger. You’ll also get free drinks (including alcohol), hot meals, snacks and desserts. Top it all off with two free standard checked bags, Premier Access® boarding and discounted United ClubSM passes.
United Economy
When you choose United’s standard fare in United Economy®, you’ll have access to a variety of inflight amenities to create your ideal onboard experience. While this option has fewer restrictions than our Basic Economy fare, it also has a little less legroom than what you’ll find in Economy Plus®.
Economy Plus
United’s Economy Plus seats are located near the front of the cabin and offer more space to stretch out and more room to work or relax. You can make a one-time Economy Plus purchase anytime you’re selecting seats for a flight, or you can purchase a subscription, which allows you to select available Economy Plus seating for an entire year.
Basic Economy
When price is what’s most important to you, United are happy to offer you their Basic Economy fare. While you’ll still enjoy the same onboard options — such as entertainment, food and beverages — as Economy, Basic Economy fares include some essential restrictions. We encourage you to make sure you understand each restriction before purchasing a Basic Economy ticket.
