Riviera include everything you need such as your flights, transfers and 9 different excursions and much more – making it a stress-free experience!

Deck/rooms:

I stayed on the Diamond Deck where we had floor to ceiling windows. The windows were also sliding doors which felt like I had a balcony.

On arrival, in our room we had a complimentary bottle of champagne and water bottle. Some complimentary gifts were put in our cabins throughout the week, and we were also given one free drink voucher every evening. All of this is included when staying on the Diamond Deck.

The rooms were extremely spacious especially for being on a River Cruise. Everything was spotless! The bed was changed every day and turned down every evening. Towels were always changed in the

bathroom once used. The bathroom was also surprisingly spacious.

Onboard facilities:

Onboard there is a hot drink machine available 24 hours, a free water dispenser and jars of biscuits/cookies available to take back to your room. There is also an onboard boutique shop with lovely items to buy as gifts or for yourself.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the main dining restaurant, but there is also a bistro which you could visit for lunch and could book for dinner. A set menu of starters is available, and you could select your main meal in advance when you make your reservation.

There are bathrooms located near the restaurant and bar to save everyone from having to go back to their rooms.

Meals/drinks:

We were full board which meant we had all meals included in our stay and we also had a drinks package, which meant we could have as many drinks (you pick from a list of drinks) at lunch and dinner time as we liked and as mentioned before, we were also given one free drink voucher each evening because we stayed in the diamond deck. For the free drinks voucher you can pick from wines, beers, prosecco and even the cocktail of the day.

Breakfasts were always a buffet with so many different options. For lunch there was a new menu each day and there was also the option of

a salad bar. There was also a different type of pasta made each day. For dinner, the menu again was changed each day, but there was always chicken and salmon as an option to choose from if you weren’t a fan of the menu that day or just fancied something a little more simple.

On the trip there is a Captain’s Dinner which is a 6-course meal, there is also Captain’s cocktail before the dinner where the captain makes a speech along with other members of staff on the ship.

Sundeck:

There is a sundeck on the very top deck of the ship. This has many sunbeds, and an area at the very front of the ship with sofas and tables & chairs, perfect to see all the sights! There is a mini golf course and a small plunge pool at the back of the deck; perfect for cooling down while sunbathing! The top deck is perfect for just relaxing and it was lovely in the evening while sailing to see all the sights. The ship even went along the Seine towards the Eiffel tower so we could see it sparkle before we left for our next destination.

During the day on the top deck, the waiters come and take your drinks orders and bring nibbles. They would make any drink you asked for!

Excursions:

Riviera Travel include 9 different excursions on this River Cruise which is amazing! The first excursion is a day trip to Les Andelys, the second is a guided tour around Rouen, then a trip to Bayeux & Arromanches to seethe famous tapestry, the beaches, the British Normandy memorial and more throughout this day. Day 5 is a trip to the stunning Honfleur which is a little harbour town, whilst day 6 is Giverny & Vernon to visit Monet’s gardens. The last day is Paris, with the choice to go on the bus tour or experience Paris at your own leisure. Barrhead Travel

I couldn’t recommend this trip enough, it is without a doubt the best way to see the city sights. I would definitely recommend this to customers who love luxury, want to see the sights and also like some time to themselves to explore, sunbathe, enjoy their room etc. It is a luxurious way to enjoy the sights and have a stress-free time considering everything is so well planned.
