This attraction has been shortlisted as one of the most terrifying tourist attractions of all time and no wonder! Built on a cliff edge in Longgang National Geological Park, Chongquing, China, this walkway stretches an impressive 26.64m into thin air. The glass bottom certainly showcases the stunning views over China but does nothing for weary stomachs or shaky legs. It’s ok though as there is only a short 718m drop to the rocks below… No biggie. For comparison to other world renound tourist hot spots, this Skywalk is a full 5m longer than the iconic Grand Canyon skywalk in Arizona – and that’s awfully big too!

The name truly epitomizes the activity. Australia is home to the world famous Crocosaurus Cove. Thousands of tourists flock here each year to get a glimpse of some of the scariest sea creatures in Australian waters. If you dare, hop inside the so aptly named Cage of Death and get up close and personal with some of the Saltwater crocodiles in the tank below. If you’re taking a little vacation over to Las Vegas this summer then this will surely get your heart racing. The Stratosphere Tower Sky Jump is the Guinness World Record holder for highest commercial decelerator descent with an official height of 829 feet. If you dare, begin your controlled freefall from the 108th floor of the tower where you will continue to fall and fall and fall until you finally hit the bottom. For all of you adrenaline enthusiasts out there – be sure to mark this one down on your bucket list!

If you stay in the UK, there is no need to travel far to get your little bit of excitement. Dubbed ‘The Nearest thing to Flying’ this mile long zip line is the longest in the world! Located in Penrhyn Quarry, Bethesda, Zip World Velocity will leave you floating on air as you struggle to come down from this massive adrenaline fuelled high.
