I just got back from the most incredible trip to Universal Orlando Resort, and I can’t wait to share all things Universal. From the excitement of the theme parks to the serene retreat at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, it was a holiday filled with magic and unforgettable experiences.
First up, let’s talk about the parks!
Universal Studios Florida: I felt like a kid in a candy store at Universal Studios Florida. Walking through the iconic arches, I was instantly transported into the world of movie magic. From the adrenaline-pumping Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit to the awe-inspiring Diagon Alley in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, this park had me hooked from the get-go.
Islands of Adventure: Across the way, Islands of Adventure took my breath away. I ventured into Hogsmeade in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, rode the high-speed Incredible Hulk Coaster, and joined Spider-Man in his battle against villains. It really is place where fantasy becomes reality!
Volcano Bay: It’s safe to say the temperatures in Orlando were scorching and the sun was shining, so I headed to Volcano Bay for some water-filled fun. The Krakatau volcano took centre stage as I floated down lazy rivers and conquered the thrilling water slides. The TapuTapu wearable made everything so easy – no waiting in lines, just lots of fun fun fun.
Universal CityWalk: As the sun set, I made my way to Universal CityWalk for an evening of entertainment and delicious eats. From the iconic Hard Rock Live venue to the energetic nightlife, CityWalk was the perfect way to end each exhilarating day.
Now, let’s talk about my oasis of calm after all the excitement – Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.
Loews Sapphire Falls Resort: This place is a hidden gem! The Caribbean-inspired ambiance, lush landscapes, and cascading waterfalls instantly put me in relaxation mode. The rooms at Loews Sapphire Falls are not only comfortable but also elegantly appointed. And did I mention the lagoon-style pool? It was my go-to spot to unwind after a day of non-stop adventure.
The Amatista Cookhouse at the resort served up some seriously delicious cuisine. I indulged in Caribbean-inspired dishes that were a perfect blend of flavours – a true treat for my taste buds.
What I loved most about staying at Loews Sapphire Falls was the complimentary water taxi service to the parks. It made getting around a breeze, and I felt like I was part of an exclusive club with the added theme park benefits.
Overall, my trip to Universal Orlando Resort was nothing short of magical. From the movie sets of Universal Studios Florida to the enchanting worlds of Islands of Adventure, the refreshing waters of Volcano Bay, and the vibrant atmosphere of CityWalk, every moment was a highlight. Loews Sapphire Falls Resort was definitely the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, making it a holiday I’ll cherish forever.
If you’re a fan of thrills, chills, and a touch of luxury, Universal Orlando Resort and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort should definitely be on your bucket list. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
