Fred Olsen UK Cruise
Beverly recently got back from a lovely 5-night cruise on the Bolette from Liverpool. The cruise started off with a slight issue as they were meant to be sailing to Scotland however due to bad weather the trip had to be redirected. Beverly found out about this just before she arrived at Liverpool port. These new changes led to Beverly going to Cherbourg and Belfast instead. This redirection resulted in 98 passengers not travelling.

When Boarding the Cruise
On arrival at the port, there was some madness because of the change. However the staff were all calm and professional and the check in process was quick and easy. Once Beverly had boarded she checked into her cabin which was a Balcony Suite on deck 6. Beverly said that she was greeted on arrival in the cabins with a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit. One of many benefits to this suite is that you will have canapes delivered to the cabin every day around 5:15pm.
First Day
On the first day Beverly had a tour of the ship and she said that the decor is very calming and pretty. She had a cocktail making class which she said she thoroughly enjoyed and one of the many payable activities to partake in whilst onboard the cruise. Beverly’s first day at sea was rough as the sea was very choppy however she said that the ship had handled it well. She had an afternoon tea booked in the observatory which again is another payable activity, however there is also a free afternoon tea in the buffet restaurant for people to enjoy.

Second Day
On Beverly’s second day she was in Cherbourg and had some free time to look around and explore the local area.

Third Day
On Beverly’s third day she had another day at sea and she got a tour of the bridge which she said she loved. She said it was amazing to see how it all works and she got amazing views of the dolphins jumping around. Beverly had some more free time so she decided to join in on the on board entertainment such as quizzes.
Fourth Day
On the fourth day Beverly was in Belfast and she had an excursion to The Giants Causeway. She said it was amazing apart from the rain, she also said it was very interesting to hear all about the History of how it came to be there.

Fifth Day
On Beverly’s fifth day it was the disembarkation day. She says that it was all very organised whether you left your case out the night before or took your own case off with you.
Overall
Beverly said that she thoroughly enjoyed her time on the Fred Olsen Cruise and found it very informative. She thinks that the age range would be 50 plus, as she doesnt think that it is catered for families. Beverly said that if a customer likes cruising with Cunard then they would really enjoy Fred Olsen too.
