Selena JonesI was lucky enough to visit Oceania Sirena whilst it was docked in Rosyth – I was really keen to experience Oceania as I hadn’t been on board before. Oceania Sirena has a capacity to hold 670 guests at double occupancy – unfortunately all the cabins were full so we did not get to see any. However, what we did have a chance to look at, didn’t disappoint!
Oceania Sirena was built in 1999 and refurbished in 2019. I would describe the ship as elegant and classic. As Sirena is a smaller ship it provides a feel of intimate cruising. All the staff that welcomed us on board for the day greeted us with a warm smile and fantastic service.
Oceania Sirena focuses on providing their customers with the best gourmet dining, personalised service and an incredibly relaxed atmosphere. The pool area was beautiful and filled with plenty of chaise lounge chairs and luxurious beds. The restaurants are tastefully designed, and the food was incredible! Toscana and Red ginger were my favourite – each offering a unique culinary experience. The Terrace Cafe and Waves grill both offered buffet style al fresco dining in style. We ate in the Grand dining room – the Chef was Scottish and came out to greet us and talked though the menu – everyone commented on how tasty the food was.
