Check out ‘The Cruise’ live this Thursday on ITV

Ever wondered what life is like onboard a cruise ship? A six-part documentary set onboard a Princess Cruises’ ship goes live this week on ITV starting from 8:30pm on Thursday, March 3. Entitled ‘The Cruise’, you’ll get a real taste of what life is like for crew and guests on board the 3,560-passenger Regal Princess as she sails through northern Europe and Russia.

‘The Cruise’, narrated by Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville, has been made by Wild Pictures, one of the UK’s leading factual documentary makers. Wild Pictures has a reputation for creating access-led films with high production values that focus on major organisations and human interest stories.

Production were given unique access into the daily roles of the 1,400-strong crew, who hail from countries all over the world as they work together to keep the operations of the ship running smoothly including navigating the 114,000-tonne, 19-deck ship; preparing over 20,000 meals a day; and servicing 1,800 cabins, every day.
